BOURDEAU ARTISTE PEINTRE

If you live in the area, or if you stay there for a few days, you could easily see him in action, as he spends most of his time in nature.

Nature inspires Bourdeau. The lights, shades, tones and textures; sometimes representative, sometimes imaginative, sometimes abstract, everything is an excuse to explore colours, mediums and their possibilities. These explorations have no limits other than those we impose on ourselves. Share this universe in a few clicks.

  • One of his works is on permanent display at the Institut du Tourisme et de l'Hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ).

Bourdeau is a passionate man and artist, who never ceases to walk in the heart of life and his art!

From a young age, Bourdeau felt attracted to art. His aunt Hélène was well aware of this interest and contributed to its development by taking him to visit art galleries and museums in Montreal. It was when she gave him a book on Renoir that he felt his inspiration rise. He then starts with a small kit of oil paint and makes his first approaches with this medium, making his first paintings.

Raynald Bourdeau, painter, resides in La Malbaie in the Charlevoix region. This place of breathtaking beauty inspires him to create works, sometimes larger than life. The river, the sky and the mountains stimulate him at every moment. The colours, which change from one season to another, and sometimes even from hour to hour, provide him with a variety of subjects. He likes to find himself in nature to sketch on the spot the different elements that will make up a painting that will bear a particular signature.
